QEEQ Paid Diamond Membership Terms&Conditions

Effective Date: June 1st, 2020

These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the QEEQ Rewards Program worldwide (referred to as the "Program"). The Program was upgraded from the "Globetrotter Rewards Program" on March 30th, 2020. These terms are effective as of the date mentioned above, superseding all prior versions. By choosing to upgrade to the membership tier and participating in the Program, you indicate your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and agree to comply with them. It is your responsibility to thoroughly read and understand all the clauses outlined below.


Paid Membership Tier

By enrolling in the Program, you will become a Silver member for a lifetime. By doing so, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions:

  1. 1. Diamond Membership Upgrade: You have the option to upgrade to Diamond membership by making a payment. Your paid membership status becomes effective immediately upon completing the payment, and it remains in effect for one year (365 days).
  2. 2. No Mid-Term Re-Evaluation: Your paid tier status will not be re-evaluated during the validity period.
  3. 3. No QPoints Bonuses: Paid membership grants you access to higher tiers but does not include bonus redeemable QPoints.
  4. 4. Expiry and Re-Evaluation: If your paid membership expires and you do not upgrade within the validity period, we will review the QPoints you earned within the prior calendar year and the current calendar year to re-evaluate your current tier.

Paid Membership Benefits

Upon upgrading to Diamond membership, you become eligible to enjoy the following benefits:

  1. 1. Car Rental & Stays Discounts: Diamond membership qualifies you for direct discounts on most car rental and stays bookings. Once you upgrade to Diamond or add Diamond to your current booking, car rental and stays discounts are automatically applied.
  2. 2. Insurance Discounts: Exclusive discounts on insurance products offered on QEEQ.COM, such as Driver & Passenger Protection or Collision & Theft Protection Package, are available to Diamond members.
  3. 3. Free Upgrades: Diamond membership allows you to book a higher car class or enhanced protection at the same or lower prices. This upgrade applies exclusively to reservations made on QEEQ.COM and is independent of car rental suppliers.
  4. 4. One-Dollar Freeze: Diamond membership qualifies you to prepay only US$ 1 for booking and the rest of the payment will be automatically deducted from your credit card before pick-up.
  5. 4. Additional Benefits: Diamond members enjoy extra discounts on products available in the QEEQ Store and earn more points for valid reservations.

Important: Diamond discounts cannot be combined with coupons in the same booking. Member discounts and coupons cannot be used simultaneously in a booking. You are free to choose either one of them during your booking.


Paid Membership Cancellation

You can upgrade to Diamond membership, and once payment is processed, your membership becomes effective immediately. Paid Diamond membership can be canceled, but it must be done through our customer service. Please consult customer service for details.

For annual Diamond membership purchases, you have the option to cancel within 30 days. A full membership fee refund will be issued only if your account has not made any eligible purchases or taken advantage of QEEQ Rewards benefits since your most recent Diamond membership charge.

Upon cancellation of your membership, we will review the QPoints you earned within the prior calendar year and the current calendar year to re-evaluate your current tier. For more details, please refer to the QEEQ Rewards Terms and Conditions.


Termination by Us

We reserve the right to terminate your QEEQ paid membership at our discretion without prior notice. In the event of such termination, a prorated refund will be issued based on the number of full months remaining in your membership. However, we will not issue any refunds for terminations related to conduct that we determine, in our discretion, violates these Terms, any applicable law, involves fraud or misuse of the QEEQ membership, or is detrimental to our interests or the interests of other users. Our failure to insist upon or enforce strict compliance with these Terms will not constitute a waiver of any of our rights.

Important: If you initiate a chargeback for a paid membership, QEEQ.COM reserves the right to remove, at any time, any QPoints earned or Eligible Car Rental days counting toward tier status that were earned or awarded during the paid membership validity period and downgrade your member tier to Silver.


Disputes and Other Terms

QEEQ.COM is dedicated to customer satisfaction. In the event of disputes or other issues, please contact us promptly. If your issue remains unresolved, you may pursue claims as outlined below:

You may attempt to resolve disputes or claims related to our services by contacting us through Qompass Voyage Limited Legal at Room 503, 5/F, Wayson Commercial Building, 28 Connaught Road West, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. If we are unable to resolve your claims within 90 days, you may seek arbitration or utilize small claims courts, as described below.

All claims will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court. You may file claims individually in small claims court if they meet the necessary criteria. This includes claims against us, our subsidiaries, car rental suppliers, or any companies offering products or services through our platform, including providers who benefit from this arbitration agreement. This also encompasses claims that arose before you accepted these Terms, irrespective of whether previous versions of the Terms mandated arbitration.

Arbitration proceedings will be conducted by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) under the HKIAC Administered Arbitration Rules. The place of arbitration will be Hong Kong, and the number of arbitrators shall be one. Arbitration proceedings will be conducted in English.
