I have to complain a bit first. I thought this booking would just be a normal car rental, but the best part was the money I saved. A few days before, I made a booking and I told myself the price was okay. I did not think too much. Later I went back to check and the price for the same type of car in Funchal looked lower than what I remembered. I felt a bit upset and thought I booked too early again. I just placed the first order and then they watched the price for me. I am pretty sensitive to numbers, so when I saw it was more than twenty dollars, I felt I kind of earned money from this car. It felt like I picked up money on the street. The car was still the same car from the same rental company and the time did not change. The only change was the lower price. I stood by my laptop for a few seconds and checked the model and dates again to make sure I did not read it wrong. As a student traveling abroad my budget is really tight, so this difference is like a proper dinner for me. I was a bit worried that this price change might mess up my booking, but everything stayed fine and I could just use the new order number. The pick up plan did not get broken. When I think about it now, what I like most is that I did not need to refresh prices again and again or talk to customer service. I just waited quietly and they saved money for me.
